SIX FLAGS

Since we are postponing our Disney trip until November, we decided to treat the kids (and us) to a day at Six Flags in St. Louis on Sunday. We had a fun day just the four of us, caught a couple of good shows, rode a bunch of rides (but no roller coasters for this family!) and enjoyed some good food. We stayed until the park closed at 9:00 pm, but fortunately Papa and DD only live 20 minutes away, so we crashed at their house for the night.

Adam and Rob riding the old fashioned cars.
I lost track how many times we rode the log ride! There was not that many people, so we never waited in line for this ride and they let us stay on and keep going around many times!
There goes Rob and Adam...
and down they came!!!
Scooby Doo and Adam and Emily too!
Sylvester and Taz
Emily wanted to ride the weather balloons, but only if Adam would ride with her.
He is such a good big brother (sometimes!)
Rob's favorite Looney Toon...BUGS BUNNY!
Another favorite...Foghorn Leghorn!
Our first trip on the Colassus (Ferris Wheel).
Emily was a little afraid at first, so she held tight to Daddy!
This was one of the street performances we stopped to see. It was amazing!
Hot, tired and sweaty...but a good picture of mom and dad taken by Adam.
They do know how to be sweet to each other!
Back for another ride through Scooby's Scary Swamp!
Right before we left, we had to go up in the ferris wheel to see the amazing view at night.
What a treat that was!
