Lunar Eclipse

Tonight was the lunar eclipse, so we let Adam stay up waaay past bedtime to check it out. Shhh...don't tell you-know-who! It also gave him a chance to use the new telescope mom and dad got him for Christmas. The pictures we got weren't great, but it was fun to experience this with him and see him so interested in space. Who knows...we might have a budding astronaut on our hands!


It was very cool to see the moon turn red and to realize that the bright shining star just below and left was actually Saturn!
