KELSEY'S CONFIRMATION

In May, we went up to Wheaton for Kelsey's confirmation at church.  We were happy that Grandma and Don could come up for Florida to be with us too! 

EMILY - SOFTBALL "JR. MUSTANGS"

This was Emily's first year playing softball.  We had some coaching issues, but in the end, the season was a lot of fun for the girls and I think they really learned the fundamentals of softball.  We can't wait for next year!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Where have my little kids gone???  Hard to believe this was the last day of 7th and 3rd grade!  They are excited for summer!!

BROWNIE TROOP - CHICAGO WEEKEND

In April, Emily's Brownie Troop went to Chicago for the weekend.  We rode up on the train, went to Shedd Aquarium and Lincoln Park Zoo.  We stayed at the Best Western River North and had a great time with all the girls!

EMILY - VOLLEYBALL

In January, Emily started volleyball at the Gym for the first time.  A few of her good friends from school were also on the team, and she made some new friends as well.  Coach Phillips was awesome and all the girls had fun learning the sport!

NEW YEARS EVE 2012

A 24 year dream of mine came true tonight - - I got to meet Bret Michaels and get my picture with him!! I also had about a 30 second conversation with him and got an awesome hug! My good friend Anita went with me and we were so excited for our big "meet and greet" moment. Afterwards, he performed with his band and helped everyone ring in the new year. Missed being with Rob as the clock struck midnight, but I'll be with him next year for sure!

CHRISTMAS IN MYRTLE BEACH

This was the first time we have ever been away from home on Christmas!! Grandma rented a beautiful condo for our whole family in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was nice to be able to spend the holiday with Aunt Stephanie (but we missed Indy!) It was very strange to be walking on the beach on Christmas morning, but we all enjoyed the beauty of the ocean, especially from the view out our balcony on the 11th floor! It was a great vacation!
