NEW SCOUTS DAY

This morning Rob and Adam went out to Camp Illinek for New Scouts Day. Adam got to do some target shooting with BB guns and bows & arrows. He even earned a badge!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

What a beautiful night it was for trick or treating last night! Our hockey player and our American Girl doll continued our tradition of dinner and then trick or treating with the McKeown's around Mill Creek subdivision.

Of course when we stopped at Grandma's, she continued her tradition of answering the door in a crazy costume!
Adam met up with two of his good friends from summer camp, Blake and Jordan, so we let him run around Mill Creek on his own...and I know he had more fun with them than hanging out with the girls!

HALLOWEEN PLAY

Today was Adam's Halloween play "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Pumpkin?" Only his class got to perform in the play. He was chosen to be the Skeleton and had several lines of dialogue. He's never had a speaking part in anything he's done at school...EVER. It's usually not his "thing" speaking in front of people. But he did just great (didn't miss one word) and we are SO proud of him for taking on this challenge!

TIME TO CARVE THE PUMPKINS

The kids each got to pick out their own pumpkin last weekend when we visited the pumpkin farm with Papa in Chesterfield. Last night we finally got around to getting them carved. Emily wanted a scary face and loved digging out all the "guts". Adam on the other hand drew a happy face, but does not like to get his hands dirty....so mom had to clean out the seeds and stringy stuff!

WEEBLOS CUB SCOUTS

This Fall we decided to let Adam join Cub Scouts. He's in the Weeblos den with a good group of 4th grade boys from his school. We just bought his shirt this weekend, so he is excited to wear it to the meeting tonight!

ADAM'S LAST (REGULATION SEASON) SOCCER GAME

Saturday was the last soccer game of the season, however, we are playing in the end of year tournament this coming weekend. It was pretty chilly outside but fortunately Emily and I took plenty of blankets to keep us warm!

HSM3 OPENING NIGHT!

Tonight I'm taking Emily to the premiere HSM3 (or for those of you that don't know the lingo that's short for High School Musical 3!) We're meeting a bunch of her preschool friends there, so she's really looking forward to seeing them....AND the movie! I wonder how many songs she will know by morning???
