EMILY'S 9TH BIRTHDAY

We celebrated Emily's birthday at the Pizza Machine! She got to play some games and we all had the pizza buffet. Then it was back to our house for cake, ice cream and presents. She also had her friends over the following Saturday for a sleepover!

LINCOLN MAGNET FALL BASEBALL

Adam played on the Lincoln baseball team again this Fall. We had a pretty good team, even though we played a lot of very good schools! We won our first regionals game but then were defeated by Chatham Glenwood. Overall a great season for the boys. Adam did great as usual on the mound!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - 7TH AND 3RD GRADE!

Hard to believe the summer is gone and our kids are ready for 7th and 3rd grade! Time sure flies!

AUGUST 2011 - MINI SUMMER VACATION

We took our annual summer vacation the week after the kids summer camp ended. We had Kelsey and Ethan with us too, which was a lot of fun for all of us. We spent a couple days at Papa's lake house in Marissa, then went to St. Louis for the day...up in the Arch and then to a Cardinal game. We had a great week!

VISIT WITH GRANDMA & DON

Grandma and Don came to visit on their annual summer vacation trip. They were here July 13-19 and we had lots of fun hanging out with them! We spent a lot of time in the pool, shopping and took them to the new Sheel's sporting goods store here in Springfield. They were here during the heat wave, so I think it was actually cooler in Florida than Illinois that week! We were sad to see them go, but look forward to seeing them at Christmas on Singer Island!

HAPPY EASTER 2011

We had a really nice Easter Sunday which started off by going to church (Grandma came too!) and then back to Grandma's house to hunt for eggs (in her basement because it was too wet outside) and then a great late lunch!

SNOWMAGEDDON 2011

February 1 was the worst Blizzard we've ever had! The winds were so high that it was literally snowing sideways. All in all we got just about a foot of snow. The kids loved it, but I'm not sure Rob had too much fun shoveling it!!
