HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We spent Thanksgiving at Grandma's this year. She and Rob did a wonderful job on the turkey, along with all our favorite traditions, wild rice, mashed potatos, stuffing, green beans, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie! We played games, watched football and had a super relaxing day together!

ADAM'S 12TH BIRTHDAY!

Well our baby boy turned 12 yesterday. I honestly can't believe how old my kids are! Adam chose to have his birthday dinner at the same restaurant as last year, Palermo's. What was funny was that the waitress seated us at the exact same table too! After dinner it was back to our house for presents and homeade cherry pie (at the request of the birthday boy!) Rob and I are SO lucky that these kids are OURS!

EMILY'S 8TH BIRTHDAY!

Emily had her "kid" birthday party at Skateland this year. The girls had a really fun time skating to all the great music and playing fun games like "4 corners" and "Wipeout".

Best friends forever! Sydney's gift was even in a gift bag that said that!!

HALLOWEEN 2010

This Halloween we went to a pre-trick or treating cook-out at the McKeown's. Adam had decided he didn't want to dress up and trick or treat this year, so we brought Adam home so he and Grandma could answer our door and pass out candy. Then it was back to Mill Creek subdivison to walk around with friends.

POWERS EXTREME HOMEMAKEOVER

We started our house remodel project on October 13, 2010. We still have some finishing touches to take care of, and all new landscaping in the spring, but we've come a long way!

We started with ripping off the rotten old front porch. What a difference that made!
We weren't sure what we were going to find under the porch, but were very happily surprised to find a slab of concrete already poured. It's exactly what we were hoping to have done - but was already done!

The new siding goes up!
Back of the house!

Looks like a completely different house!!!!
