10 DAYS WITH M&M...
We sure had a ton of four-legged fun with Maggie and Molly while Papa and DD were on vacation last week. They are back home in St. Louis tonight and I have to say it is SO quiet here right now...especially since the kids have gone to bed! We really enjoyed having the craziness around the house even though they were super good girls and didn't chew up...much!

CHANGE OF BIRTHDAY PLANS...
This afternoon, Rob and I went to a the movie and the kids were at Grandma's. Well, their little dog Duffy took a nip at Emily's cheek. She ended up getting four stitches (after spending 4 hours in the emergency room...what is wrong with our healthcare system anyway!??!) and was just the bravest little girl in the whole world. We picked up McDonald's on the way home and the little trooper got a bowl of ice cream and a fresh Hello Kitty band-aid before bed. I think Adam was pretty impressed with little sister tonight!

MAGGIE & MOLLY
For the next 9 days (yes Rob...9 days!) we are dog sitting for Papa & DD's two labs, Maggie and Molly. Needless to say after just one afternoon and evening, we are pooped out from all the activity! The kids got used to having them around by the time they went to bed, but I'm not sure the dogs are totally sure what's going on. Molly was here last summer and it's weird, but I think she remembers it! Anyway, we'll see how the night goes. I'm sure we'll be taking several walks tomorrow...so cross your fingers for another beautiful day like today!

BLUE & GOLD BANQUET
Tonight was the Cub Scouts Blue & Gold Banquet where the scouts receive their patches and awards they've earned this year. It's also where the Weeblos Den II cross the bridge into Boy Scouts for next year. Adam is in Weeblos Den I this year, so next year will be his last year in Cub Scouts. After the potluck dinner, there was a magician/juggler, who did some pretty amazing magic tricks. It was a fun family night for all!
